Peer Educators Network (PEN) was supported by ILO – IPEC (International Labour Organization – International Programme on the Elimination of Child Labour) to involve young people in the promotion of children’s rights including the right to be free from sexual and labor exploitation. In particular, to introduce SCREAM as a tool for enabling youth to react against child labor and to examine the modalities for direct involvement of Peer Clubs and youth in Innovations Lab Kosovo – i.e. the pillar By Youth for Youth (BYFY), in the prevention and elimination of the worst forms of child labor. PEN has organized two seminars – two days with more than 50 young people in order to train and enable youth to promote the SCREAM package – within the projects that they have. Finally, a round table with key actors in the field of human rights and protection of children was held, during which we came up with recommendations and suggestions on the best practices in fighting this phenomenon.
