With lots of new information and experiences, the fantastic group of youngsters ended the three day training – IntelACT.
Young people from Mitrovica, Fushe Kosova, Lipjan and Ferizaj worked together for three days and mentored by PEN trainers discussed on critical thinking, public institutions and effective communication and increased their debating skills.
On the last day, participants learned about debate structure and rules and later on divided in groups debated on different social topics.
During those three days, participants through energizers, interactive methods and debate elaborated topics, such as gender equality and inclusion and also came up with specific ideas and recommendations for their community. Participants will meet again for the second phase of the Social Act project and will continue their brainstorming on new initiatives. They will be members of the program for 6 months and their engagement on the project will be recognized as work experience.
To conclude this three-day cycle, the Project Manager – Trim Ilazi and the trainers distributed certificates to the participants and thanked them for their hard-work and their creativity.
After these three amazing days, we are looking forward to meeting the participants again and see their ideas evolve day by day.
