On 10 October 2016, Young Men Initiative project “Be a Man club”, supported by Austrian Development Cooperation in Kosovo, organized a one day training with social workers from SOS Children’s Villages in Kosovo. The purpose of this training was to promote gender equality and violence prevention around youth, especially among boys/men in order to challenge certain social and cultural norms related to manhood.
Furthermore, it has to do with educating young people about health and awareness about sexually transmitted diseases, healthy lifestyles and drug and alcohol abuse. Project is implemented from CARE International in partnership with Peer Educators Network (PEN).
