The second training with health professionals was held as part of the project “Engaging Men in Fatherhood, Care-giving, and Maternal and Child Health”, supported by the United Nations Population Fund, where 16 health professionals took part.

The purpose of the training was to offer counseling and tools to incorporate protocols on engaging fathers in the health sector.

During this training with health professionals engaged in maternal and child care, sessions were held on: the importance of involving men in promoting gender equality, proposing recommendations on fatherhood in the health sector, and changing the expectations of men on active fatherhood.
