On the International Day of Families on May 15, 2015, ‘Be a Man Club’ started the Campaign on Fatherhood, organized by Care International in the Balkans and Peer Educators Network (PEN) as the implementing partner of the Young Men Initiative, funded by the Swedish Embassy, Austrian Development Agency (ADA), UNFPA and UNICEF. The campaign started with a discussion panel and continued with an exhibition on fatherhood in Swedish and Kosovar society.

The discussion panel focused on the importance of fathers’ engagement in child development and family life, and in promoting the role of fathers as a value for the family and society. Successful practices and policies for paternity promotion in Swedish society, positive examples of fathers in Kosovo society, and the importance of continuous work to influence institutional policies that support and encourage fathers to recognize and evaluate their role were the most important arguments of the discussion.
